Since 1983, Celtic Images has been sharing the inspiring beauty of the Emerald Isle through our custom prints. For over twenty years Rick Henderson and his wife Kathie have traveled extensively throughout Ireland - down narrow dirt roads, amidst herds of sheep, through remote villages - waiting patiently for hours (and sometimes days!) to obtain images that not only evoke an Irish sentiment, but speak to the viewer on an emotional level as well. He has attempted to capture and record some of the culture and traditions that seem, at times, to be rapidly disappearing.

A professional photographer for over thirty years, Rick specializes in the photography of Ireland. His work is in the collections of the Nobel Prize winning poet, Seamus Heaney; writer, Father Andrew Greeley and has been purchased by singers Billy Joel and Rod Stewart. Rick and his wife maintain a home and studio in Hunt Valley, Maryland which they are allowed to share with their two cats, Finnegan and Murphy.
